I didn't have high hopes for this one, but I was pleasantly surprised. Do not judge this one OOB, for starters. Because if you do, you will not believe that it will turn into German Chocolate Cake in wax. OOB it smells like something lemony with some Play-Doh in the background. But in wax, it smells just like a German Chocolate Cake--if you walked up to a slice of the real thing and sniffed it. 10/10 for authenticity. Keep in mind that the aroma of an actual slice of cake is not that same as the sugary romanticized idea of one. It smells like chocolate cake with the German Chocolate Cake coconut frosting. I am impressed that AAA was able to pull this off. I use 12% in 464 soy wax. The throw is a solid 8 out of 10. It will fill the room it's in and linger into the adjacent room. I'm about 25 feet from it in the adjoining room, and I can smell it. This one is so homey. It throws well without begin overbearing. But one can easily go nose blind to it also. It isn't my favorite AAA bakery scent, but it is precisely what it is supposed to be, and I like it for its unique qualities.
